Previously featured, a 1960’s house in Milnerton, Cape Town, renovated earlier this year in 2019, was recently furnished in full. Photographs courtesy: @Mathew Van Niekerk. A property that was in desperate need of some TLC, is now beaming with new life, warmth and positive energy. A true gem ready for occupation 🙂 This family home is all about relaxed open plan living with all rooms feeding off the main living space. The dining room flows effortlessly to a large welcoming patio surrounded by a beautiful garden with a stunning view of Table Mountain. Decor items enhance furniture choices and layout and introduce colour and texture resulting in a warm, aesthetically pleasing interior.
Dear Hanno,
I am the nephew of the previous owners of 16 Keurboom Street, Milnerton. I was forwarded the link to the Visi article which showcased your incredible work on the house. I felt I had to write to you to say how impressed I was.
I gradually saw the house dilapidate from my childhood (early 1970s). I am amazed that you saw anything to redeem in the house! I believed when my aunt and uncle left that the house would have to be demolished.
Congratulations on an excellent piece of work.
Best wishes David
